Scanna is a privately owned SME, manufacturing Portable Security X-ray systems and Mailroom X-ray Screening and Detection Equipment for the Defence, Security and Industrial sectors.
We hold ISO9001: 2015 quality assurance, Cyber Essentials, Safe Contractor and TRACE accreditation and are committed to delivering social value. We support our veterans via the Armed Forces Covenant.
We have over 30 years of experience and employ approximately 30 people with a UK Head office in Central London and our Technical Facility near Shrivenham. We also have operations in the USA and offer on-site training and support wherever our clients have a presence around the globe.
Scanna x-ray products are frequently used in high threat situations including Counter EO, protecting the public, government and private organisations and individuals, so our ethos of “without compromise” underpins everything we do – from design and manufacture, through to installation, training and support.
Scanna has built a fantastic reputation in the manufacture of high resolution portable and mailroom x-ray screening products and has forged close partnerships with other premium screening equipment manufacturers such as Rapiscan/AS&E to deliver worldclass aviation compliant security screening products to our UK clients.
Scanna x-ray equipment is trusted in more than 100 countries and is use with UK MoD, US DoD, NATO forces, Police and Specialist Agencies, Transport Providers, Borders and Customs, Embassies, Prison Facilities plus a wide range of Commercial Organisations, Educational Facilities and VVIPs.
We also work with National Governments to support Major Events and Safer Cities Projects and NGOs undertaking UXO clearance (EC) activities.
